Everything in life is there for a purpose and teaches us something.
Zenab hails from the small town of Bhinder, near Udaipur. Ever since she was a kid, she wanted to become a doctor, just like her father, who is an Ayurvedic doctor. Her main source of inspiration was her father, who always supported her and helped her through tough times.
Zenab did her bachelor’s and master’s in neurological and psychosomatic disorders from Geetanjali University in Udaipur. After completing her Master’s degree, she has been working for three years now and has devoted herself to her work.
Initially, Zenab had to go through a rocky road to become a successful doctor. She took up extra coaching classes for PMT and NEET. The lowest point for her was when she couldn’t clear PMT, which demotivated her. But with the support and advice of her father, she pursued physiotherapy and started working in that direction. What added to these complexities was choosing a specialty and adhering to it diligently.
As Zenab hails from a small village, she has always wanted to raise medical awareness in her hometown. She feels that there is a need for physiotherapy in their community, but there is no awareness about it. She considers it a challenge to raise awareness about physiotherapy by breaking the conventional mindset of people, who consider it just a simple massage. Zenab has worked hard to make people understand the importance and need of physiotherapy, and she is promoting a healthy lifestyle by advising people.
Zenab feels that being a physiotherapist is a challenging profession, as it requires a lot of manual work apart from the electric therapy. She has been working professionally for the past 3 years and has gained substantial clinical experience.
Zenab always hated the fact that she had to stay away from her family to pursue her studies, but with the outbreak of the worldwide pandemic, she got the opportunity to spend time with her family, which she is highly grateful for. This quality time filled her up with newfound passion and enthusiasm. Amongst all this chaos, she feels that we all have to understand the importance of work.
Zenab feels that education is more important. She believes that gaining knowledge and then applying it practically to gain experience will do wonders for a person. She feels that both of these concepts are like two peas in a pod.
For youngsters who are planning to choose physiotherapy as their field of interest, Zenab feels it is important for them to have great communication skills along with constant practice. She thinks a doctor can heal a patient just by their words, and thus, a well-versed doctor is appreciated everywhere.
If Zenab could go back in time, she would not change anything, as she is content with her life. She would just want to relive some moments, especially her childhood.
In her free time, Zenab likes to be with her loved ones, go shopping, and hang out with her friends.
