An accidental career counselor, Zeel has been helping students from across the globe make the right decisions with regard to their careers by solving their career-related doubts.

Zeel Shah is a career and college counselor.

Zeel was born and brought up in the Kutch district of Gujarat. She did her bachelors in business. Currently, she is pursuing her masters in Australia.

Talking about her childhood, Zeel says that she spent her entire childhood in Kutch itself. She says, like many other kids, she was also always confused as to what she wanted to do with her life. It was during the part-time job that she was doing, along with her bachelors, when she accidentally discovered her passion for career counseling and then took to it full-time.

Zeel shares that she has been counseling students for their career-related queries and doubts for the past seven years now. Before that, she had worked with two companies.

When asked about who is her biggest motivation, Zeel says that her mother who keeps her going, is her biggest motivation.

Speaking about the mistakes she made, Zeel says that going through a conventional route and not exploring different subjects during high school was a mistake for her. Besides, during her bachelors, not participating in different activities and thus limiting herself from building her leadership and analytical skills, was also a mistake for her.  However, now, she is working hard to make up for her mistakes, she says.

For Zeel, success is about making people around her happy with her work.

To youngsters, Zeel advises them to keep trying and exploring things and not get bogged down by their initial failures.

In her spare time, Zeel just likes to chillax and enjoy her solitude by listening to songs.
