When she got only 70 percent marks in 12th she was disheartened and disappointed a lot. She ran away from her house and roamed about here and there considering suicide. But, she soon realised she did not have the guts to commit suicide and suddenly decided that she would prove herself by doing something worthwhile and also prove that getting less marks is not the end of the world.
Yashika has big dreams. She wants to be a big entrepreneur and not just do a nine to five job. She has grudges against men who want to keep women confined to homes as housewives only. She wants to prove that a woman can do anything. She feels men do not have the courage to handle successful women.
Yashika has been a born leader. Her leadership qualities were quite evident during her school days too. She says she knows how to take people along and does not come under pressure if a lot of work piles up.
Her future goals are to set up a manufacturing firm and also to establish a non-profit organisation. She admires Ratan Tata a lot.
In her free time, Yshika likes to read books and follow the stock market. She also likes travelling a lot. She watches the news and loves to spend time with her family.
Yashika considers herself as her role model. She thinks she is the best in the world. She likes to write and has contributed to a forthcoming book.
Her success mantra is ‘admire yourself and believe in yourself’. She feels experience is your best mentor.
Her message for the youth is to believe in yourself and don't disrespect elders.
