An artist, Yash believes that problems are a part of life, and without problems, life would become boring. He does not believe in keeping any regrets in life.

Yash Kiritbhai Varan is an actor, writer, and director in Ahmedabad.

Recalling his childhood, Yash says that he was born in a small town near Bhavnagar. Then he came to Ahmedabad and spent his childhood with his grandmother there. He was very close to his grandmother, but after completing twelfth grade, he started living with his parents. He completed his schooling in different places due to the transferable job of his grandmother. He has many memorable memories of his childhood and still cherishes those moments.

Yash shares that he had been interested in watching movies since childhood. Initially, he was working with a firm and participated actively in the Friday activities at his workplace. There he got to know about the acting workshops and theatre. He decided to join theatre and eventually got interested in this field by doing plays.

Talking about his journey, Yash says that in 2014 he joined a group in Ahmedabad.  He attended a workshop, and afterwards he and his group members decided to organise a play in Ahmedabad. So, along with his group members, he did casting, writing, production, etc. and presented his first performance. It took him six months to prepare the play, but it was successful. He gained a lot of experience from that play.

In 2015, he attended another workshop. He joined another group, and later found various other groups. He spent one and a half years in Mumbai and then came back to Ahmedabad at the time of the pandemic.  He has directed many plays for kids, as he thoroughly enjoys doing it.

When asked about his challenges, Yash says that he faced many ups and downs in his journey. Mostly, he tried to get both things: work and money. In order to generate income, he conducted workshops. In his opinion, problems are essential to making life enjoyable and adventurous.

Yash says that he always tries to get into the character and has gained a lot of experience in this field by playing different characters. He feels that the characters he played  impacted his personal life, so he is learning to maintain a proper balance between personal and professional life. He also tries to explore more in this field.

Accepting his mistakes, Yash says that he has made a lot of mistakes in life and believes that it is important to make mistakes to learn new things. He always tries to overcome his mistakes and gain experience from them.

Sharing his achievements, Yash says that people remember him and that his work is his biggest accomplishment. Appreciation from others and inner satisfaction are important in life. Learning new things, growing in this field, and proving himself through his work are his achievements.

When asked about his role models, Yash says that he does not have any particular role model. He learns by exploring and doing new things on his own. He is trying to improve his skills day by day by doing different types of work. He admires many actors and directors and tries to learn things from them.

To beat stress, Yash tries to solve problems and also likes to talk to his friend.

Advising aspirants to his field, Yash says that it is important to explore this field by doing work with different people. It is helpful in gaining new experiences to achieve success. Hard work and patience are required in this field. One can join theatre and do plays to enhance their skills.
