Yash Jain is a hardworking entrepreneur who worked his way up right from the roots. Today, he aspires to grow his business and keep growing with everyone by his side.

Yash Jain is an entrepreneur and co-owner of Kalyan Laminates, a company known for the distribution of plywood in retail and laminate in the wholesale segment across Rajasthan. Yash is responsible for managing and ensuring the timely distribution and delivery of their services.

Yash was born and brought up in Udaipur, but his hometown is Nathdwara. Yash started his entrepreneurial journey seven years ago when he founded Kalyan Laminates with his brother. As Yash started this firm with no prior expertise, he went through a lot of struggles initially. He learned the ropes from the ground up and built an empire out of it. Initially, their company distributed materials to only five dealers, and that too without any help. Yash and his brother did everything from management to sales to labor work.

Presently, Yash’s company has managed to acquire over 150 dealers across Rajasthan. Yash handles the sales for Kalyan, and his brother oversees the entire management.

Sharing his childhood memories, Yash says that he was never a fan of going to school. He often used to hide to avoid school, which made it a task for his parents to find him and send him to school.

When asked about COVID times, Yash says that their business was working even during those times, and they used to enjoy working during these times as all the competitor shops were closed. They were able to triple their sales as a result of this. Besides that, he was also able to spend quality time with his family after a long time.

Yash believes that customer relations matter more than the rate at which you are supplying your product in this industry. Trust and honesty also play a very vital role in running this business. Since the beginning, Yash has focused on these two aspects: earning the trust of his customers and providing them with good service, thus establishing long-lasting business relations.

Talking about his role models, Yash says that his father is his role model. Yash aspires to become like his father, as his father is a self-made man who faced multiple obstacles but didn’t give up.

When asked about education and experience, Yash feels that in his field, experience is more important than education. He says that despite spending seven years in this field, he still learns something new every day.

Yash says that he was not a born leader, but he gained his skills by looking at his father. Yash also believes in keeping everyone with him as a leader.

If Yash could travel back in time, he would like to relive his childhood, as he thoroughly enjoyed his school life.

Yash enjoys travelling when he has free time.
