Yash Agarwal is an Assistant Professor. He specializes in teaching philosophy, logic, and critical thinking. He also runs a company with his colleagues that promotes sustainable consumption and works to carry out international objectives in this regard.
Yash belongs to Mumbai. He did his 11th and 12th in Arts for being interested in History and Geography from the beginning. He then did his graduation and post-graduation in Philosophy from Mumbai University. During his research work, he got an opportunity to teach which he grabbed with both his hands.
On being asked about his role models, Yash says Mahatma Gandhi has a significant influence on him because of his revolutionary philosophies. He is also influenced by Jean-Paul Sartre and Albert Camus.
Regarding his mistakes, Yash says that he was not as engaged or committed in his early teaching profession as he ought to have been, which eventually served as a lesson for him.
In his spare time, Yash is fond of watching informative videos and gaining knowledge about different issues such as the environment and the climate, social and gender issues, architecture, etc.
Yash cautions everyone that people in today’s era have result-oriented and self-centered mindsets that makes them disregard the need of leaving a favorable environment for the generations to come to let them have a happy and healthy life. He urges everyone to quit abusing the environment for their own benefit and social advancement. He advises everyone to adopt an ontological viewpoint in order to function logically.
