Yagya Narayan Tripathi has been working as a Physics teacher at Bhupal Nobles Senior Secondary School for eleven years now.
He was born in a small village of Chittorgarh district and completed his basic education there. Thereafter, Yagya came to Udaipur and completed his Bachelors and Masters in Physics from Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Pursuing his interest in Teaching, Yagya then completed his Bachelors in Education in 2004-05, after which he started his career in the teaching profession.
Yagya shares that Covid made teachers take a turn to online mode of teaching. In a similar way there will be changes and challenges in life and one should learn to cope up with them. On the personal front, during the pandemic days, he says that all of us had ample time to spend with our families. Yagya could also pursue his hobbies of watching TV, reading books and making handwritten notes for his students during the pandemic.
One of his mentors back in school inspired him and motivated him to become a teacher upon growing up. Yagya says that the profession of a teacher implies building a future for generations to come. He adds that a teacher also needs to be honest in their way of teaching and update students with recent developments.
As a message for the youth, Yagya says that be it any work, if done with hard work and dedication, it will give the desired benefits and results. He believes in the saying that ‘Action speaks louder than words.’
If Yagya could go back in a Time Machine, he would have revisited his old school days, particularly his time from 1st standard to 5th standard, where he was stress free and had no worry about the future.
Yagya thinks that with Education, comes Experience and believes that both should be given equal weightage.
To wind up, Yagya shares a Hindi couplet which means that one who tries hard is never unsuccessful in life.
