Vishal always liked to work for people and to solve their problems. Looking at his devotion and spirit, people from his ward elected him as the Ward Member twice in the panchayat elections.

Vishal Patel is a Ward Member of Gram Panchayat, Kanpur in Udaipur. As a Ward Member, he has always tried his best to redress the problems of the people of his ward be it water supply issues, sanitation or drainage in his ward.

Vishal is also an advocate by profession. He says that he tries to utilise his knowledge of the law to solve the problems of the people in his ward and also to do the legal due diligence of the implementation of government programs in his area.

Vishal says that he always liked to solve the problems of people. He would take other people along and form groups to organise sports and other public activities in his village. He also worked to solve the problems of the people in his village and due to that in the panchayat elections he was elected by the people of his ward as the Ward Member. He has won the election for the Ward Member twice.

Vishal says that the Covid pandemic affected everything. During the pandemic, he collaborated with the concerned authorities and government departments to distribute ration and food packets to the needy in his village. But he says that now the situation is normalising and everything is getting back on track.

Vishal advises that to be a representative of people, one must first work for people and understand their problems and then, through proper channels, try to solve their problems.

Vishal believes that education and experience both are important in life as they both complement each other. He says that education enhances one’s vision and the experience in life helps, in getting things done.

Vishal is of the opinion that leaders are not born. He says that one becomes a leader by their work only as they work they get the right direction. Furthermore, he says that he always keeps an eye on the government policies so that he can implement them in his Panchayat to benefit the people.

Apart from his work Vishal likes to travel places. He also likes to do Yoga.

Talking about his inspirations, Vishal shares that he takes inspiration from Heera Yogi - a YouTuber and Yoga instructor. Besides, he also takes inspiration from Rajiv Dixit and Subha Jain by watching their videos on YouTube.

Vishal recognises the need to conserve Nature and he is always devoted to doing his bit to conserve it.
