An excellent educationist, Vishal has been trying his level best to provide the highest quality education to his students through the medium of his institution Blackboard Academy.

Vishal hails from the city of lakes Udaipur. After completing his primary and secondary education from St Paul's Senior Secondary School, Udaipur, he pursued B.Tech from Jaipur. He also did his Master’s in Mass Media and Journalism from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur after coming back from Jaipur upon completion of his graduation.

Vishal started Blackboard Academy in 2016, with an aim to provide quality education throughout the year. Vishal believes that education is just like food. Just as one cannot live without food for consecutive days, education should not have breaks or pauses. One cannot procrastinate for the next day. He and his team work 24/7 for 365 days so that his students never have to sleep with doubts related to studies in their head. Vishal says even when his grandparents passed away in 2018, he did not take a single leave which shows his utmost dedication as a teacher.

Talking about the Covid-19 pandemic, Vishal says it was a return gift from nature for all the mass destruction and pollution caused by us humans. Even though times were hard, Vishal along with his mother, who is a councilor in Udaipur, formed a committee to help distribute food to the people in need. He and his team humbly delivered thousands of packets of food in the morning and thousand in the evening, despite all Covid restrictions that were imposed. Vishal also learned a lesson from the pandemic which he wants everyone to be aware of, and that was to save money. He urges everyone to save a little amount of money out of their earnings, so that next time a calamity strikes, they are not left empty handed like they were during the unprecedented Covid situation.

Vishal emphasizes a lot on education coming from an educational background. He thinks that today’s youth follow their role model blindly which should not be the case because keeping aside the factor of education, they don’t always have the same determination and dedication towards their field of interest as their role models in life. So he suggests the youth to first graduate and attain good education to be successful in their lives. Also, he believes that being a teacher the most important thing is to be able to connect with students. If a teacher is good enough to do that, experience will teach them the rest.

Vishal’s role models in life are his father and his mother. His father, who is a retired divisional commissioner, taught him to be honest and determined while his mother who comes from a political background has taught him to stand his ground and fight for what is right. Vishal believes that when a person says that someone is their role model, they should walk in their footsteps and always try to inculcate things from their lives into their own, and not just say it for the sake of saying it.

When asked about the fun stuff he does in life, Vishal says he loves to do everything in life the fun way. He talks about a new upcoming project which would mark his entry into the hospitality industry. His new farm house by the name ‘Pinakin Prayank’. He says before entering the field he wanted to do some research which he did in a very funny way by going to other hotels and restaurants in Udaipur with different excuses, and checking everything they offer, so that he can rise above the competition.

If he could go back in time, Vishal would want to undo all the terrorist attacks and save numerous lives that were lost in them.

Vishal winds up by saying that we as a people should help each other grow and make this world a better place to live-in.
