Virendra is a budding filmmaker and art director. He is busy promoting his company Doodle Art Workshop which he has formed with his sister.

Virendra Parmar is a Filmmaker and Co-founder at Doodle Art Workshop with her sister, who is a Wall Murals artist. He started his filmmaking journey post eleventh standard after watching “Gangs of Wasseypur”. He had a perception that all movies were artistic movies. When he made his first short film, he started respecting the fact that from a movie like ‘Gulaal’ to a movie ‘Golmaal’, the efforts are the same. Rather, the bigger the film, the more effort it takes, he gradually understood this with experience.

Virendra explains the reason behind them working together because his sister was in the Art field and she wanted to open her own workshop company. As he was in filmmaking, he joined hands with his sister and they chose to market together. As social media is the easiest and most effective marketing platform now-a-days, he started making short videos explaining why Doodle Art Workshop is the best company.

Virendra claims that their business is a problem-solving workshop because they teach art to the people. He says that the course is designed in such a way that it helps people to fight and relieve their stress while doing art. So, technically they are giving back to the community.

Virendra says that earlier they used to take these workshops by travelling to different cities. But during the pandemic, they designed their own online courses because everything was closed and they could not travel. Initially, there was no such need to design any course, but as the company was growing fast, people came up to them asking to develop a course and therefore, they launched one called “DAW Bootcamp.” People started purchasing and downloading it and shared their appreciation via testimonials telling how much their course is helping them grow new skills and bursting their stress in the pandemic.

Virendra gets inspired by sports personalities like Conor McGregor, an Irish MMA Fighter and a rich athlete. Virendra is highly motivated by his passion towards his game.

Talking about education, Virendra did his schooling from Jaipur and then did B.A. from Pacific Institute, Udaipur. He believes in a constant learning process rather than collecting degrees.

Virendra opines that education is important to learn basic skills. He says he was a naughty student and kicked out of seven different schools as he never studied because he lacked understanding of the concept of learning. But, later he realised that schools teach you discipline and hard work.

Virendra’s success mantra for life is honesty, clarity and passion towards your work. He believes in adding value to the lives of people by delivering worthy products and services, be it movies or an art course.

Virendra shares a motivational quote by Max Holloway, “You get to keep your feet on the ground, and it is what it is.”
