Vinod Vaishnav is working as a mathematics teacher at Vidya Bhawan Senior Secondary School, Udaipur.
Vinod did his schooling at Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School. After that, he pursued engineering and B.Sc. He is currently completing his M.Sc.
Vinod shares that after 10th standard, he took the commerce field due to a lack of guidance. However, his teachers insisted on him to switch to science. His family conditions were not sound and hence he started giving tuition from his school days itself but never dreamed of coming into the education field.
In 2017, Vinod joined the Vidya Bhawan Education Resource Center and in 2018, he started teaching mathematics at Vidya Bhawan School. He focused on students who were weak in studies and conducted extra classes to deliver a hundred percent result in his subject.
Talking about COVID-19, Vinod says that students could not study well and their basic education suffered during the pandemic days. Also, on a personal level as well, his family had to see a tough time as his father’s restaurant closed down.
Sharing his achievements, Vinod says that many students who are weak insist on learning from him and their parents also appreciate his dedication which is an achievement for him. Also, Vinod says that he taught two girls, Meera and Bani, Hindi in just one week as they knew only English. He considers this a big achievement for himself.
Talking about his role models, Vinod says that his parents have always supported him in every phase of his life and he regards them as his role models.
Vinod advises the aspirants of the field to try to understand students effectively and maintain good behavior and relation with them. He feels that a teacher should put forward a confident and polite demeanor.
Talking about his Success Mantra in life, Vinod says that the struggle of his parents and the wise words of Swami Vivekananda, “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached” inspires and motivates him in life.
Vinod advises the youth to respect their traditions and parents. He also urges them to study well in life.
In his free time, Vinod likes helping his father in his restaurant, pursuing his interest in Astrology, and discussing mathematics principles with his brother.
