After completing his formal education, Vinod, following his father’s footsteps, joined his parental business and with his hard work over time he was able to scale it and also started his own telecom and travel businesses, later.

Vinod Sahu is the owner of Sahu Telecoms in Bapu Bazar, Udaipur. He has been running it for the past thirty-five years.

Vinod hails from Udaipur. He did a B.Com, M.Com, and ICWA.

Vinod laments that due to the rise in online shopping and the attractive buying offers that it gives, small and medium-sized businesses are getting affected adversely. He advises people to promote local sellers by purchasing from them.

Vinod shares that after completing his formal education, following his father’s footsteps, he joined his parental business of selling namkeen. He scaled the business and also started another business of telecom products. Besides, he has also started a travels and tours business that facilitates train and flight ticket bookings and also tour packages.

To the new businessmen, Vinod advises them that instead of focusing on increasing their profits they should focus on retaining and gaining customers.
