An assistant professor and talented artist, Vinod’s passion for education and fine arts has led him to a fulfilling career filled with accolades and personal growth. From his humble beginnings in a small village to his thriving career in Jaipur, Vinod's story is one of passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of artistic excellence.

Vinod Nagar, currently an Assistant Professor at IIS University in Jaipur, has been working in the education field for eleven years. Alongside his academic career, he is also a skilled fine artist. His primary medium is watercolor, and his secondary medium is oil paint. However, his preferred approach is to start with watercolor.

Originally hailing from the small town of Bandikui in Dausa, Vinod has resided in Jaipur for the past 23 years. Despite the transition, he holds cherished memories of his vibrant childhood in the village, where technology was scarce but joy was abundant.

Vinod attributes much of his success to his father's unwavering support for his education and his encouragement of Vinod's early interest in fine arts. This passion led Vinod to pursue the arts stream as his major in eleventh grade.

Reflecting on his past, Vinod acknowledges regrets about neglecting certain subjects during his academic journey.

Vinod has achieved his aspirations of recognition as both an established artist and professor. His accolades include numerous national and international awards, as well as prestigious honors such as the D.J. Merit, Ujjain’s gold medal for fine art, and an award from the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi.

Vinod credits his decision to pursue arts in Jaipur to the inspiration he received from his school faculty member, Rajendra Meena, who highlighted the city's fine arts colleges.

Specializing in bird paintings, Vinod holds copyrights on his artwork and operates his own studio named ‘Painting and Graphic Arts’. He also undertakes commission-based work.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Vinod finds joy in dancing and spending quality time with family and friends. For solace, he turns to painting and listening to music.

Vinod recalls a challenging period when he fell just 0.25 marks short of qualifying for a government job exam, but he remained determined to persevere and improve himself.

Offering advice to aspiring artists, Vinod emphasizes the vast opportunities in the field, including teaching, government or private jobs, freelancing, or establishing personal institutes. He stresses the importance of continuous skill development and staying abreast of technological advancements.

Vinod encourages budding artists to leverage social media platforms for visibility and networking.
