As a veteran academician, Vinod uses his two decades of experience working for the Taj Group to give his students practical knowledge of the hospitality field.

Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadoria is the Director of Pacific Institute Of Hotel Management in Udaipur.

Vinod hails from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. He has been working with the institute for the past thirteen years. He says that he was associated with the Taj Group of Hotels from 1981 to 2007, and after that he got a chance to work with Pacific University.

Describing his professional journey, Vinod says he had a keen interest in interacting with and knowing new people from different countries. Later on, his interest developed into a passion for the hospitality industry. He has been working in the hospitality field for almost 26 years. He did his Bachelor in Hotel Management along with his job.

Speaking about his struggles, Vinod says that his journey was not an easy one. He says that he started his career with the Taj Group as a telephone operator and then rose to become a manager there through his hard work.

Sharing his COVID experience, Vinod says that the COVID period was a very difficult time. He says that he lost many of his relatives and known ones, which was very heartbreaking. However, the pandemic made us all stronger and more ready for any emergency situation.

Vinod advises hospitality students that there are numerous opportunities available to them. This industry simply requires to be disciplined, hardworking, and dedicated individuals, and a promising future awaits them.
