Vinita Moriyani is working as the Senior Clinical Dietitian at the GBH American Hospital, Udaipur.
Vinita was born and brought up in Palanpur, Gujarat. She has done her graduation and post-graduation in Food & Nutrition from Sardar Krushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University.
After completing her education, Vinita did a six-month internship from CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad, and followed it up by working there itself for two years. She has been working at the GBH American Hospital for the past one year. Her main job is to recommend an adequate diet to patients depending upon their disease and biochemical parameters. She also has an intern under her, whom she guides during her day at work.
The COVID period was very frightening for everyone, except for Vininta. She says she didn't fear COVID and was confident that even if she gets infected, she would recover quickly by following a good diet. And this courage and confidence helped Vinita while tending to patients efficiently. She further says that the COVID threat is real and is here to stay for a while. So to take care of yourself and your families, you should follow a balanced diet which includes proteins and vitamins in ample amounts.
Viinta warns everyone about this new trend of phony dietitians in the market and on social media. She says that to become a genuine dietitian, one should pursue a proper degree course and advise everyone to check for the degree before consulting any dietitian.
Vinita is a firm-believer that leadership is not attained by birth and is developed through years of rigorous training and practice.
Vinita takes inspiration from everyone around her be it her seniors, her family members, or her co-workers.
Talking about her future plans regarding her career, Vinita says that in the next ten years she wants to become the Head Dietitian and later, a Professor in an Agricultural university.
In her free time, Vinita likes to cook and keep herself updated about the latest developments in her field.
She calls upon everyone to follow a healthy diet, as health is the real wealth.
