After exploring several options, and after working in various roles, Vinayak Mehta finally settled as a CSE teacher at the Aravali Institute of Technical Studies, Udaipur.
Vinayak hails from Salumber in Rajasthan. Completing his school education in his hometown, he embarked on a journey of higher academic pursuit, choosing Udaipur for his BCA from Pacific University. Thereafter, though he had secured an impressive AIR 68 in SRM University’s entrance exam, he chose to go to VESIT college in Mumbai, where he successfully completed his post-graduation.
Stepping into the professional arena, Vinayak initially worked as a Software Developer at MIA, and later ascended to the role of a Project Lead in an outsourcing company for an impactful one and a half years. On the advice of his father, he made a pivotal decision to step away from his corporate role, dedicating himself to government services exam preparation. His diligence paid off with success in the LDC exams, although unforeseen circumstances led to the cancellation of all the recruitments.
Undeterred, he seamlessly transitioned into teaching at Ostwal College while awaiting his next professional chapter. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at the Aravali Institute of Technical Studies.
Drawing inspiration from diverse figures, Vinayak looks up to Sadhguru for spiritual wisdom, Dr. B.S. Bindra for reinforcing fundamental principles, and Virat Kohli for his unparalleled determination. In his personal sphere, his father stands as a beacon of guidance and mentorship.
Reflecting on his accomplishments, Vinayak proudly mentions his selection in RCA in 2012, being crowned the Best Personality of Dandiya Night by Rajasthan Patrika, and victory in a collage contest at his previous workplace.
To aspiring educators, Vinayak imparts invaluable advice, emphasising the significance of effective communication and the ability to impart knowledge in an understandable manner to students.
His message to the youth resonates with the essence of patience. He advocates for the inclusion of constitutional studies in school and college curricula, fostering a comprehensive understanding of rights, duties, and the intricacies of the Indian economy. This, he believes, is pivotal for the holistic development of the youth.
