As a skilled artist, Vijay Makwana has been offering  his clients tattoo making and other artistic services. With good support from his clients, he has expanded his network of studios to four centers.

Vijay Makwana is a tattoo artist in Anand, Gujarat. He owns the Feather Art Studio there which he has been running since 2010. Customers can get tattoos, piercings, and nail art services from the studio. His four establishments consist of three art studios located in Anand and a back office situated in Vadodara.

Looking back on his early years, Vijay tells us that his family had a strong interest in the arts from the time he was born. His parents are also artists. His interest in several creative forms stems from the fact that he naturally spent his entire youth studying about them.

In terms of schooling, Vijay attended B.A. Mehta Kala Maha Vidyalaya, Amalsad, to pursue a Diploma in Fine Arts after passing the 10th grade exams. Following his graduation, Vijay spent a year pursuing a job as a drawing teacher. Later on, in 2010, he opened Feather Art Studio, a place where he created art.

He also happened to become a tattoo artist by accident. As it occurred, a Tattoo studio was unable to supply the proper tattoo design for one of his buddies who wanted to get tattooed. Vijay was then called by the studio and his friend because he was an artist. After this experience, Vijay became interested in the field. As a result, Vijay conducted extensive research in this area and took numerous classes to grasp the subtle aspects of tattoo design.

When asked about his regrets, Vijay shares that he could have followed fine arts for a longer period of time. Nevertheless, he views this as a lucky break since it allowed him to open his own tattoo studio sooner rather than later—by at least four to five years. He believes that becoming a tattoo artist was his dream. His other regret is not being able to pursue his dream of studying abroad, but he thinks that everything happens for a purpose. He is very happy with where he is in life right now.

Vijay considers his father to be a big source of inspiration as he has learnt various art forms from him and he has motivated Vijay to pursue his dreams.

Vijay’s hobbies include gardening and pet keeping. He shares that he keeps snails and reptiles as pets. In his free time, Vijay engages in his hobbies since they help him de-stress.

"Today's victories should be bigger than yesterday's victories" is Vijay's motto in life. This aids in daily development and improvement of his abilities and knowledge. He believes that you should progress every day.
