Vidita, previously a senior school teacher, now serves as a principal and enthusiastically contributes to higher education.

Vidita Pandit is the principal of Abhinav Senior Secondary School in Udaipur.

Born in Khandwa, Vidita currently resides in Udaipur. She has an M.A. in English literature and has also completed her M.Ed. She completed her higher studies in Indore. She was a senior high school teacher before taking up the duties of a principal.

Recalling her adolescent days, Vidita says that she had to face many difficulties during her school life due to the lack of transportation in her village. Most of them used to walk to school, which was very strenuous. These early struggles in life prepared her for the professional life ahead.

During COVID 19, when physical teaching was prohibited, Vidita began to teach online while equipping herself with technical knowledge. Proper online communication between students, parents, and teachers did not come without its own problems. Despite this, her school delivered online education during the pandemic thanks to the cooperation of the teachers and students. She also found solace in spending more time with her family.

Vidita believes that patience and communication are very important for this job and that being a principal demands a lot of dedication.

If Vidita could turn back time, she would reappear for the MPPSC exam. She could not qualify for the exam in any of her attempts. She missed out by a very small margin. She wonders if, had she passed that exam, she would have been working in a good position today.

When asked about her role models, Vidita says she draws inspiration from her father. Moreover, her success in her professional life is due to the support of her father.

In her opinion, education widens our horizons, while experience provides solutions to all problems. She believes both are equally important.

Vidita believes she is a born leader. A leader, according to her, must be benevolent and have good team management principles, which are very important. She is very friendly and familiar with teachers, staff, and her students. She tries to solve the problems of her students personally. Her students are her foremost priority because, she believes, teaching them would lead to the creation of new leaders.

In her free time, she likes to read and listen to old songs. Kishore Kumar's "Ruk Jana Nahi" is her favorite song.
