She was married right after her twelfth and did her higher studies after marriage. Academically, she has done BA-B.Ed in Psychology and passed it with second rank, that too during her pregnancy.
Vibha says that her managerial journey started when one of her friends, Sunita Juneja, advised her to put her knowledge to good use. She was then advised by her family to manage one of their schools to kill her boredom. She says that she began managing the pre-primary school. She says that she didn’t like going to school at first as it was pre-primary and she had to deal with small kids but she gradually grew to enjoy the job and now she never misses a day going to the school.
Vibha credits half of her success to her friend - Sunita Juneja. She says that being from a rural background she used to have an inferiority complex while talking to people in the city, but her friend instilled self-confidence in her by inviting her to various events. She is also grateful to her husband who motivated her to step out of the house and attend social gatherings.
Talking about her association with DICF, Vibha says that Mr. Nilesh and Mr. Kapil approached her through social media and invited her to become a member of the NGO. She researched a bit about the NGO to find that it was created with an aim to help the families of the Diamond Workers who died because of COVID, and felt inclined to join the NGO.
Vibha says that she used to be shy while talking to people but gradually overcame it by participating in various social events and associating with various social groups. She says that now she doesn’t face any kind of hesitation while giving speeches and talking to important people. This newfound confidence also helped her improve her school administration as well which resulted in more admissions. She says that working at school also made her more patient.
Vibha eventually got enough confidence to fulfil her childhood dream to start an NGO and will be launching it with four of her fellow ladies in the near future. She informs that the NGO will deal with the problem of malnutrition among slum children.
Talking about role models in her life, Vibha says that she acquires good qualities from everyone in her circle and doesn’t have one specific role model but many.
