Veer Singh is a photographer by profession. He thinks that this field requires hard work and dedication. He is also a sports enthusiast and likes to play basketball.

Veer Singh is the owner of Veer Photo Factory in Udaipur. He is from Pali, Rajasthan. His father works at the HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration, Udaipur. He did his B.Sc. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, and is currently preparing for his M.Sc.

His interest in photography developed in his early school days. Veer used to click pictures from a simple mobile camera. After his 12th year, his family wanted him to study further, and his dream of becoming a professional photographer was delayed. Unable to clear the JEE Advanced exam, he decided to do a part-time job in a medical store. Veer saved money earned from there and bought his first second-hand DSLR camera, and his photography journey began.

Veer says that he knew nothing about this field and started watching YouTube videos to learn in depth. To learn more, Veer joined Saurabh Patwari, a professional photographer, and started training under him. He went for his first pre-wedding shoot in November 2019 and observed the work in great detail. After working with Saurabh for about two years, Veer started taking on projects on his own and opened a studio.

Talking about COVID, Veer says that it was a hard time for everyone. His business also dropped as weddings and shoots were canceled. He also gave his savings to team members in distress. Veer says that everything was scattered in that phase, and now, slowly, he and his team are trying to bring things back on track.

Veer considers Saurabh Patwari his inspiration. Veers says that it was Saurabh who taught him everything about photography, from how to behave with clients, not lose temper, camera settings, and industry trends to being creative and innovative.

Veer says that anyone who wants to join this field should be ready to put in all their efforts. They should choose their field of interest as there are many sub-branches like fashion photography, product photography, and wedding photography, to name a few. Veer says that newcomers should also learn to abide by the promises they make to a client, as relations are very important in this field.

Talking about education vs. experience, Veer says both are necessary, but experience plays an important role in one’s progress. He thinks that one should gain as much experience as they can in order to establish themselves in any profession. Education is never-ending, and one should never stop learning, as Veer feels.

Veer says that a leader should be a team player and should not act like a boss. He thinks that if team members do not work properly, no work will be completed on time. He says that a good leader is polite and considerate in their approach.

If given a time machine, Veer would like to travel back to his school days and relive the time he spent with his friends.

In his free time, Veer likes to play sports like basketball and football. He also likes to learn new things and keep himself updated.
