Never losing hope is the key to surviving and passing the tough times in life.
Vasundhara Sharma is a housewife based in Udaipur.
Vasundhara originally hails from a small village near Agra. She studied till sixth grade in her village itself. Thereafter, she completed her remaining schooling privately from a nearby village.
Recollecting her childhood memories, Vasundhara says that she spent her entire childhood in her village itself. She would spend most of her time at her father’s confectionery shop.
When asked about her role models, Vasundhara says she considers her father as her role model. Her father was a confectioner himself and she learned to make confectionery items from her father.
Talking about challenges in her life, Vasundhara says that she tried her hand at different businesses and faced failures in most of them. She opened a Kirana shop but had to shut it down. Then she moved to Udaipur and started working for a bank there but had to quit that job too eventually. Thereafter, she tried her hand at selling samosas and other snacks but failed in that too. Her situation got further aggravated during COVID when her business of selling vegetables had to be shut down. And owing to that her husband and son had to work with food delivery platforms as delivery boys to survive. Later, she started her own tiffin center and earns just enough for the survival of her family through that, she says.
Vasundhara says that come what may, one should never lose hope in life and keep working hard for the good days to arrive.
