Varsha Kalra was born in Udaipur and got married in Chittorgarh. For the past eight years, she has been residing in Chittorgarh, where she works as a teacher at Rose Petals School.
Reminiscing about her childhood, Varsha recalls being born and raised in Udaipur. She completed her secondary education in 2008, followed by senior secondary education in 2010. She pursued a B.Com degree, which she completed in 2013. Varsha also began her M.Com studies but was unable to finish the final exams due to some personal issues. She cherishes the memories of every year spent in Udaipur.
Initially, Varsha aspired to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy, but various circumstances prevented her from doing so. However, after getting married, she realised that teaching was the best path for her, allowing her to share her knowledge with others.
Varsha identifies her father as her role model. His example taught her not to give up, no matter how challenging the situation may be. Furthermore, she learned the importance of giving more to others rather than solely taking for oneself.
When asked about the significance of education and experience, Varsha says she believes that education is crucial in the beginning of your career. It equips individuals with the necessary knowledge to excel in any field and subsequently gain valuable experience.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities at the school, Varsha provides private tuition at home. She even teaches several students free of charge.
In her leisure time, she enjoys listening to music and reading books.
Given the opportunity to revisit the past in a time machine, Varsha would like to go back and complete her M.Com Final exams.
Varsha's advice to the younger generation is to utilise their education and learning to benefit others. By sharing knowledge, one's understanding and fulfilment are enhanced, says Varsha.
