Vardi Chand left his job to create a success story in organic farming and vermicomposting. He believes that there will always be harmony in life, regardless of happiness or misery.

Vardi Chand Patel is the founder of Shiv Shakti Agro Organic Farming in Udaipur.

Vardichand hails from Bujera village. He has a diploma in electronics and prior experience working at Pyrotech.

Talking about his journey, Vardi Chand says that one fine day he left his job and decided to dedicate his life to organic farming and the production of vermicompost organic manure. He founded Shiv Shakti Agro Organic Farms and set out on his mission. He began his journey by buying cows for his farm. But, as disposing of cow dung was a huge problem, he landed on the idea of doing vermicomposting. He got good results, and his idea was a hit. Today, he is the leading large-scale manufacturer of vermicompost and organic vegetables.

Vardi Chand’s philosophy in life is that if you work with patience and perseverance, results will follow. Even his family was skeptical in the beginning about this work, but now everyone helps. He proudly says that even during the lockdown due to the COVID pandemic, it was agriculture that saved the day for the country.

When asked about role models, Vardi Chand says that there is not a particular role model in his life.

While comparing education and experience, Vardi Chand feels that education and experience are both important in life. He thinks that it is beneficial to read books on various subjects. He says that one should always be stable, whether in happiness or sorrow.

Vardi Chand is critical of some people who talk more about organic farming but work less. He says that it is an emerging field, and one should focus on increasing production instead of talking about the trade.

Vardi Chand says that farming will pay you only when you take good care of it. He says that good manure never fails you, and its use will always give you good results.
