At a young age, Vanshika has effortlessly balanced working on her startup while also completing her college education. After completing several certification courses and with four years of experience, she now conducts extensive yoga sessions for corporate companies like Miraj and trains notable personalities.

Vanshika Jaiswal is a Yoga Instructor and MD at ‘I Am Yoga Studio’, Udaipur. It has been four years since she started doing yoga.

Talking about her childhood memories, Vanshika says that she was born in Ayodhya, UP and when she was five years old, her family shifted to Udaipur. She did her schooling in Udaipur itself. She was weak in Math but was a sincere student. She remembers playing with her friends at school and cherishes her school memories.

The turning point in Vanshika's life struck during her 12th-grade year, coinciding with the onset of the COVID era. Lost and uncertain about her career path, she embarked on a personal quest to shed some weight. In this journey, she stumbled upon the transformative power of breathing exercises and pranayama. She delved deeper into yoga and discovered certification and diploma courses that would shape her newfound passion into a career.

Under the guidance of her mentor, Guneet Monga Bhargava, Vanshika not only shed weight but also acquired a wealth of knowledge. She also started giving yoga classes and personal training while simultaneously pursuing her college degree.

Recounting her struggles, Vanshika says that often people would not take her seriously because of her age. She refined her orientation and communication skills, took feedback from her students, and proved herself. Her family has been supportive of her dreams. Once, when she faced personal challenges and bouts of depression, her support system, comprising friends and family, played a pivotal role in her swift recovery. Undaunted, she gave certain government exams, honed her skills, and ventured into entrepreneurship with a startup focused on promoting the benefits of yoga. Finally, she decided to open her own yoga studio.

When asked about her role models, Vanshika says that her mother supported her a lot in her yoga journey. Her mother used to wake her up and cover for her in case any problems arose, which motivated her to pursue what she liked. Her business partner supported her idea and brought creativity to it. She has learned to be humble and polite from her mother and to have confidence and business etiquette from her business partner.

Comparing education and experience, Vanshika says she feels that both are essential and complementary to each other. She feels that because of her education, she developed the confidence to speak in public. She learned how to manage different situations from her experiences.

Sharing her experiences, Vanshika says that from the very beginning she had been serious about her career, simultaneously working on her business setup and completing her college education alongside her family responsibilities. She was cheated several times in her life and learned from her experience. She was appreciated but also faced criticism at the same time. She faced problems due to financial constraints. However, armed with certification courses and four years of experience, she now conducts extensive sessions and trains notable personalities.

Talking about her achievements, Vanshika says that she was very young when she gave her first personal class to the family members of a politician. Thereafter, she got to meet many well-known personalities, including DYSP Chetana Bhati, and train them. She has given yoga sessions at corporate companies like the Miraj Group and was appreciated a lot.

Vanshika urges today's youth to embrace a healthier lifestyle, emphasizing the significance of fitness and yoga for mental and physical well-being.

To all those who want to pursue the field of yoga, Vanshika advises them that you have to be patient and disciplined. She also encourages them to pursue some other professional degree as a backup. She also emphasizes focusing on your teaching skills, confidence level, and ability to give instructions. She stresses doing diploma courses in yoga from an institute, which will help in learning all the basic concepts as well as how we can teach them to others.

If given a time machine to go back in time and change something from her past, Vanshika would want to study to become a doctor.

In her spare time, Vanshika loves to train kids and likes to watch movies and eat out with her friends.
