Vanshika Gupta is a make-up artist and the owner of Brush-up by Vanshika , make-up and beauty studio in Kanpur. She has been working in this field for the past four years.

Vanshika says she had a wonderful childhood. She never thought of becoming a make-up artist ever in her life. Her husband encouraged her to get into this field. Her husband took the franchise of Lakme and then established the salon for her. Gradually, she started taking an interest in this field and attended professional training in the field.

Speaking about her mistakes, Vanshika says initially when she entered this field, she used to commit many mistakes during make-up projects. But with regular practice, she improved her make-up skills.

When asked about her role models, Vanshika says she looks up to her husband as her role model. Her husband was the source of inspiration for her to get into this field.

Vanshika says she generally does not get free time, but whenever she gets, she likes to do meditation.

Vanshika’s life mantra is – “Never give up, always work hard to achieve your dreams.”

Vanshika’s piece of advice for new entrants is to research the field first and then choose the beauty academies wisely to get knowledge about the field of beauty and make-up.
