A dedicated librarian, Usha Paneri, is working hard and making a living.

Usha Paneri has been working as a Librarian at Vidya Bhawan GS Teachers College in Udaipur for eight years.

Usha lives in Udaipur. She did her schooling from Jaipur. Due to her father's transferable job, Usha shifted to Udaipur and she did her graduation from B.N. college and M.Sc.from MLS University in Udaipur.

Talking about her entry into this field,  Usha says that, in her childhood, she wanted to become a doctor after growing up. She gave the pre-medical test but she was not selected so she went on with her studies. Usha was very introverted. She had never dreamt of doing any job. After her marriage, her father-in-law motivated her to join the service of a librarian, says Usha.

Sharing her Covid experience, Usha says that it was a challenge for her to make her library online. With the support of the college staff, she made it possible by sending PDFs of the books to the students during the pandemic.

When asked about her role models in life, Usha says that her parents are her role models in her life. She also receives support from her family members. Usha gives credit for her career to her father-in-law.

In her free time, Usha likes to cook. She likes to prepare various dishes. She also likes to dance and watch TV in her spare time.

To one and all, Usha suggests staying unitedly and celebrating festivals together and sharing happiness with everyone.
