Fascinated by the Police uniform, Urvashi also tried her hand at becoming one, but could not clear the exam. After introspecting a lot, she became a successful fashion designer and is working with big celebrities in the film industry and earning her name.

Urvashi S. Sharma is a Fashion Designer. She works in the Bollywood film industry as a Fashion Designer.

Urvashi belongs to Nashik, Maharashtra. She took the police recruitment exam after her 12th, but could not get through. Then she did her LLB and after changing several streams, she finally found her destination in the field of fashion design.

Recalling her childhood, Urvashi says that she had a fun-filled childhood with her cousins in Nashik. Besides, she had been a Hockey player in her childhood and had represented India in several All India Open Matches.

Talking about her role models, Urvashi says she considers Deepika Padukone as her role model because of her personality, boldness, and the way she carries herself. She also draws inspiration from the fashion designer, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla.

Describing her struggles, Urvashi says that she has gone through many hard times in life, which is in fact, still going on as she belongs to a typical Marwari Brahmin family. She adds that in her community, girls are not allowed to get enough education and they get married at a young age. However, going against her community, her family has to face the taunts and slander from people in abundance.

In her spare time, Urvashi is fond of playing Hockey and spending time with his brother. She also likes to listen to music.

Advising the youth, Urvashi says you must enjoy your college life to the fullest because that’s your time to live. Apart from this, she advises them to be physically and mentally fit, asks them to find solutions to their problems, and suggests they should increase their creative traits and pay attention to them.

Urvashi advises the newcomers coming into the field of fashion designing that to establish their foot in this industry, they must work under a good designer and assist them to gain experience. Moving forward slowly, you have to work on building a brand image by launching your brand and focusing on its marketing, promotion, and advertising aspects, she adds.
