Music is Power
Tushar Kabir Verma is a Guitarist in the RAMTrio Band and has been playing the instrument for almost a decade now.
Tushar had to go through a tough time for almost eight years, starting his journey from the streets to where he is today. He used to spend his nights sleeping in an auto-rickshaw but today, fortunately, he is staying in a flat and is able to pay his rent.
Tushar used to play cricket earlier and was equally good at Music. He later identified his passion for Music hidden in him. Tushar then started taking his music training in Lucknow. After getting a hang of it, he started performing in hotels but couldn't earn much income out of it. To give wings to his dream, Tushar came to Mumbai to do something bigger and better.
Talking of pandemic days, Tushar says that due to COVID, all the activities came to a standstill and he came back to Lucknow. He adds that corona gave us time to delve deeper into ourselves and understand our direction in life.
Tushar talks about his Music band which is based on Shayris and focuses on the value of Secularism and imparts the message of living in unity. In his band, he plays the guitar with a combination of Western and Classical Music.
Tushar says that along with being a good musician, one should also be a good human being. He has also taken music lessons from Mayukh Sarkar and Ustad Ravi Dubey.
For aspiring musicians, he says that one should be able to evaluate themselves and stay with knowledgeable people and be a forever student in music.
