An entrepreneur, Tushar, gained a lot of experience working with his father in the automobile sector. He has been working as a director for his own firm for the last ten years.

Tushar Jain is the director at Chirag India Automotive Pvt. Ltd. in Udaipur. He is also the secretary of the Udaipur Automobile Dealers Association.

Recalling his childhood, Tushar says that he enjoyed his childhood days thoroughly. According to him, there is a big difference between earlier childhood and today’s childhood. In his childhood, there was freedom to play and to do anything he wanted. But in the recent scenario, every child is busy with their mobile phones, which restricts their growth.

Talking about his journey, Tushar says that he studied at Alok School. He then did his B.Com. and M.Com. at MLSU. His father established one of the first automotive firms in Udaipur. Initially, he joined his father’s business, Udaipur Automobiles, and gained valuable experience there. Armed with knowledge and experience in retail sales, he entered the wholesale business in 2010. He went on to open his own automotive venture, doing wholesale in the entire Udaipur zone.

When asked about challenges, Tushar says that at the beginning he faced the challenge of a lack of knowledge in this industry. Slowly and gradually, he analyzed the products and market to gain knowledge. Now, he has set up an automotive firm dealing in wholesale OEM and OES parts, covering the whole Udaipur division.

Sharing his COVID experiences, Tushar says that during the COVID-19 pandemic, his firm, being a tractor parts dealer, got early permission to operate their business. However, they had to work with only five partners and employees to meet the demand for tractor parts. He had to face lots of challenges in handling all the work on his own. He says he has learned many life lessons since the pandemic. He also says that it was a very tough time, as many people lost their loved ones.

If given a time machine, he would like to relive his childhood. He would also like to restart his business in a better way.

Tushar’s role models are his parents, as they have always supported and encouraged him in life. His father had compromised a lot for family and business. He always put the happiness of his family above anything else, and as a result, he worked very hard to build a business from scratch. His father’s success and perseverance inspired him. Besides, his mother had managed the family through the financially tough times when his father was just setting up a business.

Tushar advises that we must dream big and try to achieve our dreams. We must never compromise on our dreams and do something productive and valuable in life.

In his spare time, Tushar likes to travel, eat, and play. He also likes to spend time with his family. He is also involved in social activities.
