Thakur Prasad Meghwal is working as an Assistant Professor at the Aravali Institute of Technical Studies, Udaipur.
Talking about his childhood, Thakur says that it was spent in his village, where he used to play around mango trees with his friends in the summers. He completed his basic education in his village, Bichhiwara, and then completed his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from Lovely Professional University in 2019.
When asked about his struggles, Thakur says that he did his schooling in Hindi medium and that shifting to an English-medium mode of study during his engineering degree was a tough nut to crack for him. Then, one of his friends started teaching him, and he got better in his studies. Thakur says that during his engineering career, he worked under Dr. Raja Sekhar Dondapati, who was a scientist in the energy field, and it was he who motivated Thakur to go into the teaching field.
Sharing about his role models, Thakur says that his father is his role model because he worked hard and earned his degree through dedication, and he also desires to be like him.
Advising the aspirants to the teaching field, Thakur says that they should focus on developing good knowledge and explanation skills. He also feels that having a good thinking capacity is also necessary.
Thakur says that in life, imagination is much more important than knowledge, as knowledge can take you to a particular place, while imagination opens up unlimited opportunities for you. Similarly, when it comes to education and experience, he feels that both go hand in hand.
Advising the youth, he says that they should focus on giving their best in whatever field they are in and do consistent hard work. He feels that when we do better for ourselves, we do better for the country.
