Determined to become a performer, Tasneem started her acting career with an advertisement, and despite all the difficulties that she had to face, she has had an interesting journey and is aspiring to do more.

Tasneem was born and brought up in Mumbai.

Recalling her childhood, Tasneem says that she was a pampered and privileged child and had a lovely childhood. She completed her education in Mumbai itself. She had been interested in being a performer since her childhood.

Sharing her journey, Tasneem says that she started with an advertisement but was not serious at that time. She has been seriously pursuing acting on television since 2016. She feels choosing an acting career is very challenging. Although she belongs to Mumbai, she did not have to struggle much, but she still considers it a weakness because she is not ambitious enough. She got a role in a daily soap, but realizing that it would take up her time, she quit doing it. She also tried teaching.

Speaking about her mistakes, Tasneem says that she started very late in her acting career and did not take it seriously at the start, which was a mistake on her part. However, after her mother’s demise, she seriously started working for it.

Sharing about her accomplishments, Tasneem says, although she has received several awards for acting, her biggest accomplishment is that she has been growing in her journey and feels that her present is better than her future. She has worked under the direction of Mahesh Bhatt and has played different kinds of roles.

When asked about her role models, Tasneem says that she loved watching Dileep Kumar, Smita Patil, Balraj Sahni, and Irfan Khan. She loves Shah Rukh Khan and is inspired by him a lot. Her parents have been her guides throughout her life.

In her spare time, Tasneem likes to read, listen to music, go swimming, and play badminton. She enjoys traveling.

In times of stress, Tasneem likes to spend time with her family.

Tasnem’s life mantra is to forget about the past and move forward.
