A dedicated and talented businesswoman, Tarika has been in the education business since 1999 and has also been associated with the Rotary Club for many years. She has also founded a group She Circle India, to bring together empowered women engaged in various activities.

Tarika Bhanupratap is the owner of the National School of Design and Art, Udaipur. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Udaipur Panna and the founder of She Circle India.

Tarika is a native of Udaipur and finished her schooling there. She earned an MSW and an MSc in Zoology. Following her marriage, she entered the education industry and worked for a number of franchises, including the Institute of Hardware Technology and Aptech Computer Education. Additionally, she contributed to a few initiatives for the Ministry of Rural Development. She currently manages her own Design institute and offers students a range of courses.

Speaking about her experience, Tarika states that she closed the three institutes she had been managing and folded up her firm in 2015. When she recognised she wanted to give back to the community, she and her husband founded the Rotary Club of Udaipur Panna. She was given a platform to carry out a range of social activities and work in fields such as adult literacy, sanitation, water, and education for girls.

Later, she considered pursuing her long-held desire of starting a community of intellectual women involved in enterprises and professional endeavours. She established her own organisation, ‘She Circle India’ in 2023. It is a group that unites strong, independent women. It has released a book called ‘She Tales’ and organised several events, including the ‘She Awards’ and the ‘Udaipur Saari Festival’. Additionally, they hosted a lifestyle exhibition with 50 stalls featuring jewellery, cosmetics, purses, and many other items at Ashoka Green, Shobhagpura. She plans to open two more She Circle India branches in Jaipur and Indore in addition to bringing the second season of this lifestyle expo in future.

Tarika discloses that she finished her education at St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School, where in the tenth grade, she was the district topper. She was also the Science batch topper in the twelfth grade. She also passed the PMT test on her first attempt and was selected for a dental college, but she chose not to enrol there. She also qualified in the RAS preliminary round. However, after being married, she chose not to take the RAS mains examinations for some reason. She thinks that eventually, her education had a favourable impact on her life.

In response to a question regarding her role models, Tarika states that her father serves as her idol because of his unwavering optimism. She learned from him that no matter what, she should always be upbeat and cheerful. She heard and learned from her father that if you work hard and keep trying, you would eventually succeed.

Tarika's secret to success is managing her time well and never giving up on her goals. She claims that one of the main sources of inspiration and encouragement in her life is her spouse. She expresses gratitude to her daughters for their assistance as well.

Tarika conveys a message that since women are already powerful, society should work to uplift and inspire them rather than showing sympathy towards them. She also describes the procedure and extends an invitation to women to join She Circle India.
