Tanmay is an engineer, but with the passion to do something big, he has become a successful entrepreneur who is running his business in about twenty-five countries and has brought laurels to his name all over the world.

Tanmay Sharma is the Founder of Aesthetics International. It is a seventeen year old organization which is working in forty different verticals in around twenty-five countries of the world.

Tanmay hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He did his schooling from Meerut and Dehradun. Then he did his Engineering in Electronics and MBA in HRM and IT from Amity University. During his MBA, he was selected by the Ministry of HRD to pursue a Diploma in Training and Development to become a Corporate Trainer. But he doesn’t practise it.

Tanmay shares that as soon as he completed his studies, he started working as a Management Cadre in an Engineering Institute. But the job didn’t work for him. So he immediately quit his job and started a fine arts interior business. Since his mother had been a fine art artist, he founded ‘Aesthetics International’, a fine arts company with two verticals initially; manufacturing and export of artifacts and a community service NGO to promote art and culture. Expanding his business, he went on to add more verticals such as imitation jewelry and other similar products. As his business started going uphill, he stepped into exhibitions, events, conferences and leadership programs across the globe.

Regarding his sources of inspiration, Tanmay says that he draws inspiration from almost everyone he meets. Besides, he considers his mother as her role model as she is a cancer survivor and he acquired a fighting spirit from her.

Describing his struggles, Tanmay says that the biggest struggle was to start a business. Because no one in his family had ever done a business before, so they were skeptical about it. Even after starting, challenges always kept coming as he had no experience of doing business. But he went ahead with doing experiments. Sometimes he succeeded, sometimes he faced failures but he never gave up and kept marching ahead.

Sharing his proud moments, Tanmay says that today he owns four newspapers, two magazines and one channel, which he is going to launch soon on the OTT platform under the name ‘Aesthetic Prime.’ In addition, he has gained expertise in customized and corporate interiors alongwith advertising and branding. Besides, he has recently started writing and soon his first mythological fiction novel is going to be launched, which is a big achievement for him.

In his spare time, Tanmay loves reading books and has gradually also developed an interest in writing. Apart from this, everything related to art like music, events, programs, etc attracts him.

If anyone wants to start their own startup, Tanmay advises them to start any work with full focus. But it is also important to have a Plan-B ready with you. It is because in today’s era, it is necessary to have at least three-four earning sources to be able to lead your livelihood the way you want.

Tanmay advises everyone not to pressurize the coming generation to do jobs. He says that in today’s era there are ample opportunities available to the youth that they can make good careers in whatever fields that interest them and can earn good money too. Hence, this will automatically lead them towards success.
