Do whatever you love and love whatever you do.
Do whatever you love and love whatever you do.
Swati Tiwari is a Life Coach and Trainer from Bhopal. She has been working in this field for the past twenty-two years. Swati helps people to live and redesign their life to be a more happy and meaningful life.
Remembering her childhood, Swati says she was born in Gwalior, a beautiful city in Madhya Pradesh. She had a wonderful childhood. Her father was a doctor and he loved to travel and visit new places. She says she was an obese child in her childhood. She used to be the laughingstock among people on roads, in family functions and wherever she used to go. But she learned to wear her confidence despite her weakness.
Describing her journey so far, Swati says after school, she picked Business Management during her graduation from the Bhopal School of Social Work. She completed post graduation in Business Economics from Jeewa University, Gwalior. After her marriage, she moved to a small village where she saw the real struggle of village people. This inspired her to work for the welfare of rural people.
She started working with management colleges where she worked in different roles-Associate Professor, Academic Director etc. She also conducted Management Development programs for the corporations. During one of the MDPs, one attendee who had experience of more than fifteen years with a reputed company, appreciated her training session a lot. His words of appreciation inspired her to pursue the training and coaching field as a trainer and life coach for the rest of her life.
When asked about her mistakes, Swati says she might have chosen the wrong career option. However, she believes if she hadn't opted for academic profiles with management colleges, she wouldn’t have entered into the training and coaching field.
Sharing her accomplishments, Swati says she has trained and coached more than 1000 people about how to live a more meaningful life. She is also associated with numerous institutes and organizations. She has conducted many training sessions at different places in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
When asked about her role models, Swati says she does not consider any specific person as her role model. However, she says she looks up to her father, who was very objective, as an ideal. She takes inspiration from her mother to have love for everyone and even from her husband, who has the ability to grasp a person’s background in just a few minutes.
To reduce her stress, Swati likes to spend time with her kids and pet dog. She also enjoys the company of plants and her books.
Swati’s life mantra is to put hundred percent effort into whatever you do. She says she follows the saying - “Do whatever you love and love whatever you do."
