A teacher by profession, Sushma learned that every student is different and requires different tackling. She feels that patience is what one should practice and avoid making hasty decisions.

Sushma Soni is working as a Social Studies and EVS teacher at Global School of Excellence, Bhopal. She has been working here for the past three years.

Talking about her childhood and education, Sushma shares that she had a very good childhood and lived with her nuclear family. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 and then did a graduation in Commerce from the Barkatullah University, Bhopal. After that, she did an MBA in HR and Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University and also did a B.Ed. from Barkatullah University itself. Then, she started teaching and has a total experience of eight years in the field.

When asked about her challenges, Sushma says that she had to face many challenges in her teaching career. She says that students come from different age groups and different family backgrounds and hence tackling each student requires different measures. However, with time, she got to learn many things and started focusing on the overall development of her students.

Talking about her mistakes, Sushma says that losing her temper and taking impulsive decisions are her mistakes. She feels that she should have shown more patience in such situations.

Sharing about her achievements, Sushma says that she has attended many online and offline training sessions, seminars and webinars and this is her achievement. She feels that it made her more independent in life.

Talking about her role models, Sushma says that her parents are her role models as she has learned a lot from them like never being too dependent on others and tackling every issue coming to us in our life.

Sushma says that her life mantra is to always be cool minded in life and enjoy it to the fullest. She feels that we should keep our tensions aside while working.

Advising today's generation, Sushma says that they should listen more to their teachers and parents and not react in life impulsively.

Sushma says that in times of stress, she likes to spend some alone time and connect with the almighty through her prayers.

In her free time, Sushma likes reading books, watching T.V. and movies and traveling.
