Café owner Surendra Sharma, initially opened a tea shop and gradually grew his business by establishing a café and hotel.

Surendra Sharma is the owner of the “Buddha Cafe” in Pushkar. He has been running his cafe’ since 1991. Earlier, he had a tea shop, then he turned it into a café and a ten rooms hotel.

Surendra was born and raised in Pushkar and spent his entire childhood there. After completing his school education until the tenth grade, he dropped his studies and joined his family business.

Surendra says, during the COVID period, he and his family were going through a difficult phase of life. They used to pray to God to end the difficult time as soon as possible.

When asked about his inspirations, Surendra says he considers Lord Hanuman as his inspiration.
