Starting his career as a Makeup Artist, Suraj also became an Actor through his hard work.

Suraj Thakur is a Makeup Artist, an Aerobics Teacher, and an Actor. He also runs two dance class centres.

Suraj hails from Ranchi. He spent most of his childhood moving from one place to another as his father was in the Indian Army. He did his schooling at the Army Schools in various cities. He recalls that his childhood was a very disciplined one as he mostly lived in the cantonment area. He eventually settled in Ranchi with his family after his father retired.

Talking about his professional life, Suraj says he had initially started his career as a makeup artist. Upon seeing film shooting in real life, he observed that he could also do acting. Suraj says that he didn't have much difficulty in starting out as an actor as Jharkhand has several film studios where one can easily get good opportunities.

Talking about his role models, Suraj says that his father is the one who inspires him. He says that he grew up observing his fathers’s disciplined lifestyle and tried to imbibe the same in himself.

The little free time Suraj gets, he likes spending it with family and going on outings.

Sharing his COVID experience, Suraj says that both his dance centres, and also his Aerobics classes centre were shut down during the pandemic. He took a heavy financial toll but gradually he is recovering from it.

Talking about his achievements, Suraj says that he has worked as a makeup artist in various Bollywood movies and has even acted in one. He is also the face of several hit regional music albums.

Advising the youth, Suraj says that you should complete your studies before thinking about getting a job. He also advises them to work honestly and with dedication to achieve success.
