Surabhi Sharma is a dedicated teacher at Rockwoods High School, where she inspires young minds with her passion for Mathematics, specifically teaching third standard students.
Hailing from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, Surabhi Sharma grew up in an environment that championed girl child education, thanks to her father's unwavering support. Her father not only educated her and her sisters but also ensured they received the best possible opportunities. Due to her father’s transferable job, Surabhi experienced life in various states, including Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, enriching her cultural perspective.
Surabhi Sharma pursued a Masters in Social Work from Gujarat, followed by a B.Ed to fulfil her aspiration of becoming a teacher. Her academic journey is a testament to her commitment to education.
Drawing inspiration from her father, a mathematics genius, chemical engineer, and retired government officer, Surabhi has always looked up to him as her role model. She credits him with much of her knowledge and hopes her children will follow in his illustrious footsteps.
If given a chance to travel back in time in a time machine, Surabhi would cherish the carefree and joyful days of her childhood.
She firmly believes in the synergy of education and experience, asserting that the best outcomes arise from their combination.
Surabhi Sharma’s advice to the younger generation is to heed the wisdom of their elders and learn from their experiences. She emphasises the importance of being career-oriented, respecting others, and living conscientiously, as if under the watchful eyes of a higher power.
In her leisure time, Surabhi indulges in her love for nature through gardening, finding immense joy in nurturing and watching her plants flourish.
