A prominent Rajasthani Folk Singer, Supriya is successfully portraying the rich culture of Rajasthan through her singing and leaving a mark in the field of Rajasthani music.

Supriya is a native of Jaipur. But because her father was an army officer, she attended school all around the country. She has done an MCA and an MA in Indian Classical Vocal Music.

In recollection of her childhood, Supriya remembers performing for the Chief of the Army Staff at her father's office party when she was just three years old. Her father quickly recognized her talent and set up plans for her to study music.

In response to questions about her accomplishments, Supriya takes pride in mentioning that she has worked as a lead artist for Rajasthani music companies and has consistently appeared on Akashvani and other FMs. She says that she was a finalist on the renowned TV talent show program ‘Saregama’. After that, she received numerous commercial singing offers, but her father turned them down because she was still so young and needed to finish her education first.

Supriya recorded numerous playbacks for well-known TV shows like Balika Vadhu, but her most famous major project was a compilation of Rajasthani wedding folk songs released by Veena Cassettes.

As her role model, Supriya looks up to Bollywood music legend Lata Mangeshkar. She says that she has been learning to sing in her style by listening to her songs since she was a young girl.

Recalling her COVID experience, Supriya says that the pandemic was a sudden shock for all of us, as we and even our elders had never witnessed such a dreadful moment in their lives. However, she says that being at home has given her the opportunity to take a break from performing on stage, spend more time with her family, and practice music more regularly.

In her leisure time, Supriya enjoys going shopping, watching TV, and watching movies. She enjoys doing her own home's interior decorating, and most recently, she discovered a love for gardening.

Supriya advises individuals who desire to pursue professions in the music industry not to focus on immediate success. She insists on learning and practicing classical, folk, or light music of one's choice. She believes that training gives a vocalist an extra advantage as they work to create their distinctive singing style in the music business. Furthermore, she also urges candidates to maintain their health and focus through exercise and meditation.
