Sunita fought tough times and worked hard to become a successful salon owner over her 25 year long journey which was full of ups and downs.

Sunita was born and raised in Jaipur. She got married in Delhi but later returned to Jaipur with her family.

Talking about her professional journey, Sunita says that growing up, she was fascinated with makeup which drove her to this industry. She took a makeup course in Delhi and started her business in Jaipur. She started off as a faculty in the salon industry and then started her own salon 25 years back. She says that being the first businesswoman in her family, she did face some challenges but she kept moving. She says that she has committed many mistakes in her journey such as not being professional and trusting everyone easily.

Speaking of the testing times in her life, Sunita sys that when she came from Delhi to Jaipur, she faced much struggle. She says that her children were small, and being a working mother it became difficult for her to manage everything. However, she says, she didn’t give up and kept working hard to be an example to her kids, who have now grown up to be strong individuals.

Advising the youth who are aspiring to join the salon industry, Sunita says that you should be passionate about the field, work hard, and be honest.

Sunita says that the makeup academy, where she worked as a faculty, was instrumental in her success. She says that it gave her strength in her tough times and also paved the way for her to open a salon.

In her free time, Sunita likes listening to songs and roaming around with her friends.
