Whenever she faces challenges today, she turns to her for guidance, as she believes there is always a solution to every problem in her words and wisdom. One particular lesson has stayed with Sunita Sharma throughout her journey. When she first joined the school as an in-charge, many teachers found it difficult to accept her authority, especially when she introduced new rules and systems. At times, this resistance made her question whether she would be able to continue in the role.

During that phase, she sought guidance and was advised to give 100 percent dedication to her work, with the assurance that those opposing her today would eventually stand beside her tomorrow. She was inspired by a powerful metaphor—just like the sun stands alone yet illuminates the entire world, one must have the courage to shine independently. This philosophy became her guiding principle, and she has followed it ever since, completing 13 successful years as an in-charge.

Her father worked as a peon at the Food Corporation of India, and she was often teased because of his position.
