Sunita had always been driven to succeed, but owing to unfortunate circumstances, she was unable to do so. She worked hard to earn her position as a teacher and now, she is educating her students well by instilling moral principles that would help them become better citizens.

Sunita Purohit is working as a PGT Biology at Jagran Public School, Noida.

Sunita was born in Uttarakhand but brought up in Delhi. She received all her education from there. She did her B.Sc. in Geology (Honors) from Delhi University. Further, she did her B.Ed from Meerut University, Uttar Pradesh. Then she did her M.Sc in correspondence from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. Soon she joined Maharishi Vidya Mandir as a PRT Teacher. Alongside, she also completed her M.Ed.

Recalling her childhood, Sunita says that in her childhood, she used to visit her maternal grandparents' house a lot, and there used to be a pine forest nearby. She used to visit that forest every now and then and played several outdoor games. She still cherishes her childhood memories. She used to enjoy herself as well as take excellent care of her household duties.

Talking about her role models, Sunita says she considers her father as her role model for learning to fulfill the responsibility of the family from him. In her professional journey, she takes inspiration from her seniors and principals, because of which she has been able to reach where she is today. Besides, she also tries to learn something or the other from her students to keep up with the times.

Describing her mistakes, Sunita says that in her pursuit of perfection, she started expecting too much of herself and others, which caused problems for everyone, but later she recognized it as her mistake.

In her spare time, Sunita enjoys doing arts and crafts, listening to music, and reading Vedic literature. She is also fond of gardening.

Advising everyone, Sunita says regardless of how many ups and downs your life brings, you must know how to handle yourself and advance by keeping a correct balance. Further, she tells us to stay calm in every situation, not to be afraid of any change, and to move forward accepting every situation with positivity.
