Coming from below the poverty line, Sunil struggled hard to build self confidence and create his own path as a sketch artist.

Sunil Sharma is a sketch artist.

Recalling his childhood, Sunil says he was born in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. He used to sketch when he didn’t even know what a sketch was. He started drawing at the age of four. He says he had never thought of becoming a sketch artist. He dropped out of school after 10th and started working. However, he completed his graduation and post graduation while working. Later, he shifted to Jaipur and worked at a company for six years.

Continuing with his journey, Sunil says he was fired from the job, and then he realized that he never took his life seriously. He decided not to do the job anymore. He found it challenging to earn a living while supporting a wife and a little child. Afterwards, he created his profile on Google and promoted himself as a sketch artist. Within months, he started earning and became a successful and professional sketch artist.

When asked about his mistakes, Sunil says one of his was to live with whatever he had. Further, he says that he always managed his finances with little money. He never desired to have more, which was a huge mistake.

Speaking about his role models, Sunil says he had many in his life as he worked in different fields and was inspired by various people. However, he believes Swami Vivekananda has influenced his life as a role model.

In his free time, Sunil loves to sing.
