Working towards his dream of opening an institute, Sunil is constantly striving to provide an excellent team and focuses on efficient management of the resources to help and guide the students to clear the most difficult government exams.

Sunil Rathore is the director at Vijaypath Classes, where coaching is provided for various government exams such as RPSC, RSMSSB, etc.

Sunil was born and raised in the town of Bilada in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. For the past six years, he has been residing in Udaipur with his parents, wife, and two daughters.

Recalling his childhood, Sunil goes into nostalgia when he talks about his childhood. He says that those days were fun, and he still misses the village lifestyle that he had in childhood. If he gets the chance to visit any one period of his life using the time machine, he would like it to be the time of his childhood, when he used to stroll in the fields with his grandfather and relive those days. On getting another chance to visit his past, he would try to avoid the mistakes that he made during the initial years of his career.

Sunil says that he did his schooling in his hometown; however, he completed his eleventh and twelfth standards in Jodhpur and Kota, respectively. In Kota, he prepared for pre-medical entrance exams but was unfortunately not able to crack them. Thereafter, he completed his graduation from Jai Narayan Vyas University in Jodhpur and later pursued his master's in public administration.

Sharing his journey, Sunil says that in 2010, he started preparing for the post of Sub Inspector in the Police Department due to his admiration for the uniform and also cleared the exam. In 2012 and 2013, he passed the reputed Rajasthan Civil Services written exam, but he could not clear it in the final stages. Neither was he able to join the forces, nor was he further prepared for the administrative services.

He had another plan, which was to coach students who were preparing for government exams. So he started teaching geography at coaching institutes, which yielded excellent results. Then, in 2015, he came to Udaipur and continued teaching here.

But he had a vision of starting his own coaching academy, and in 2017, he established the Vijaypath classes. He believes coaching academies should prioritize nurturing excellent results from their existing students rather than amassing a large number of students.

According to Sunil, if you, as a teacher or mentor, fail in a competitive exam yourself, then it is deemed a black mark on their career, but on the bright side, you get an excellent learning experience through which you can guide your students about mistakes that they should not commit.

Anyone planning to start an academy is advised by Sunil to have a good team with excellent management skills. He adds that they must strive to keep up with the faith students have in them.

Sharing about his challenges or problems, Sunil says that if you are doing anything in life, then challenges will always be an inseparable part of it. So you must fight them off with determination and faith and keep working hard. He also mentions that preparing for a competitive exam with the responsibility of a family is quite an arduous task, a difficulty that he too faced.

When asked about his role models, Sunil says that his role model is his father, as his life stories have inspired him to work even harder and never complain. Leadership is also a vital skill, he says, which requires some experience and also comes from observing other leaders or great people.

Though Sunil is constantly occupied with his busy professional life helping out students, whenever he gets free time, he likes to go out with his family and sing old songs. He believes in having a balance between work and family life.
