Sumit is a resident of Rajasthan's Sarsaina hamlet in the Bharatpur district. His education was completed in the nearby city of Nadbai. At the Shree Digambar Nursing College in Bharatpur, he completed his nursing education. Sumit was driven to change the healthcare sector once he had finished nursing school. Upon joining AMRC Multispecialty Hospital, he was able to obtain practical experience in multiple departments and collaborate with seasoned medical specialists. His love of medicine was stoked even more by this experience, which also strengthened his resolve to give patients high-quality care.

Despite the concerns and fears of his family, Sumit's passion for medicine and dedication to patient care motivated him to continue working as a frontline worker during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of that, he didn't go home and spoke to his family members only on calls. Prioritizing the health of his patients over his own, he voluntarily gave up time with his family, choosing instead to live away from home and speak with them only over the phone.

In addition, a lot of people used to tell him that this industry wasn't good enough to work in, which would demotivate him. However, he was passionate about this area, so he ignored their advice and persisted in his work. Sumit persisted in pursuing his love in this industry in spite of obstacles related to money and discouragement from others. He persisted because he had faith in his skills and showed that effort and commitment can get over any challenge.

Sumit emphasizes the importance of both education and experience in the medical field. He believes that without proper education and theoretical knowledge, working in the practical field becomes difficult. Experience, even if weak in studies, is more crucial as it allows healthcare professionals to apply their knowledge effectively and make informed decisions. Sumit believes that a combination of theoretical understanding and hands-on experience is essential for providing quality care to patients.

Sumit considers his greatest achievement to be treating the COVID patients well, taking good care of them, and treating them like family members because they were separated from their families.
