Originally from Chittorgarh itself, Sumit Bhatt serves as an Assistant Professor in the BCA department and as an in-house trainer at Vision Group of Colleges, Chittorgarh.
His educational journey began at St. Paul’s School, Chittorgarh, followed by a B.Tech in Computer Science from Arya College of Engineering and IT, Jaipur. He also did various IT and Cloud-related certifications.
Sumit shares that his passion for teaching blossomed during his college years, where he found joy in assisting his juniors with their studies. He also fondly recalls his involvement with an NGO supporting cancer patients, an experience that allowed him to interact with and aid those battling the illness.
When asked about his role models, Sumit points to his mother, who he admires for her dedication and hard work.
Sharing his personal challenges, Sumit particularly refers to a period when he faced health issues. Despite these setbacks, he persevered and improved himself and acquired new skills.
While Sumit believes he has much more to achieve, he takes pride in his Reddit certifications, social growth, and selection for the Google Student Club.
He also shares that he finds motivation in the lyrics of a song : “Zindagi ki yahi reet hai, haar ke baad hi jeet hai.”
His message to aspiring teachers is that they should possess comprehensive knowledge of their subject before taking on the responsibility of teaching. A teacher should be capable of addressing their students' queries and adapt from being a mentor to a friend or guide as the situation requires.
Lastly, Sumit advises the youth to pursue their passions with dedication, ensuring they won't have regrets in the future.
