Though an engineering graduate, Suman had always been  passionate and fascinated about making creative and different types of tattoos.

Suman Sharma is a tattoo artist at Ink Hunt Tattoos in Pune.

Suman was born and brought up in Assam. He received his engineering degree from Punjab, completed his graduation in Manufacturing Engineering, but became a tattoo artist. Currently, he is pursuing tattooing as his profession.

Talking about his journey, Suman says that he initially started working with a company at a good post and worked there for eight years. He switched to the field of tattoos and has been tattooing since 2006, after completing graduation. His wife always supported and encouraged him to proceed further in this field.

Sharing his COVID experience, Suman says that he struggled a lot for two years at the time of the pandemic.

Suman’s role model is the talented musician Shubhank Sharma, who inspires him a lot.

When asked about his struggles, Suman says that he faced many challenges in his journey of tattoo-making. Initially, he did tattoos at very high discounts to attract more customers. He worked as a tattoo artist in various cities.
