Suman did various beauty courses and upskilled herself to build a promising career in the salon industry.

Suman Kamoya is the Owner of Mayur Salon Spa & Institute.

Suman comes from Udaipur. She did her schooling at RMV School, and followed it by graduation from BN College.

Talking about her work, Suman says that after getting engaged in 2010, she and her husband together pursued several beauty courses from various cities with a vision to expand the family business. She got married in 2011, and opened a new branch of the family business with her husband. In 2013 and 2016, she did two internationally acclaimed hairstyling courses. Later she attended various seminars and kept pursuing other courses as well, the most recent one being a makeup course from Brazil in 2021.

Suman says that she is grateful to all her mentors who helped her in upskilling herself.

During COVID, Suman says the business was almost zero, she vamped up her skills at home itself with the help of the internet. She says that after the lockdown was lifted, she worked in accordance with COVID protocols.

Given a chance to go back in time with a time machine, Suman would like to relive her joyful college life.

Advising budding salon professionals, Suman says that this field demands great passion and also offers great opportunities if you work hard.
