A Dancer and life-long learner, Suhas, beating all the odds in his life, is working hard to create his identity as a Hip-hop artist.

Suhas Kadu is a Hip-hop artist and the Founder of Pune-based Freedom Dance Studio.

Suhas was born in a village in Pune. He completed his school education in his village itself.

Suhas shares that when he was in the tenth std, he realized that he wanted to become a dancer. He says that the kind of background he hailed from, it was quite challenging for him to pursue his artistic interest. Nonetheless, he came to Pune city and started learning Dance there. Thereafter, he went to Mumbai and also lived in other cities in Maharashtra to fulfill his dream of becoming a dancer.

Talking about his struggles, Suhas says that his family wanted him to study but he wanted to dance. And owing to that he had to leave his house and stay independently in order to pursue Dance. Leaving his house meant that he struggled financially. However, beating all the odds, later he was able to win the trust of his family as a dancer and today he runs his own dance academy.

Talking about Covid, Suhas says that before the pandemic everything was going well with his dance classes but the sudden occurrence of the pandemic hit him badly. He had to shut his dance studio owing to the pandemic. He had to struggle financially as he had to pay rent for his dance studio. However, he did not give in and gathered himself again when things normalized a bit and started his dance classes again.

According to Suhas, Education and Experience are both important. He says if you have an education then experience will automatically follow.

Suhas considers his brother as his inspiration, who always motivated him to do his best beating all the odds in life.

In his spare time, Suhas likes to listen to music and go to the gym.
