The Director and Co-owner of a Lucknow based Art and Dance academy, Suhail is  unlocking and recognizing latent talent of children by training them in Dance, Make-up Art, and Acting.

Suhail Khan is the Director and Co-founder of Lucknow based Ruhail Academy which trains children in Make-up Art, Dance, and Acting. He founded the academy in 2019 and it’s been growing continuously ever since.

Suhail was born and raised in Lucknow. He always wanted to have an English medium education, however his parents could not afford it. Therefore he completed his Bachelors from a government college. His highest education qualification is MBA.

Suhail shares that in 2018, he started out with Art exhibitions and classes with an aim to unlock hidden creative potential of children. Later, in 2019, he along with his brother co-founded Ruhail Academy.

Talking about his struggles, Suhail says that in his life he has gone through some ups and many downs. He says that he always wanted to study in one of the top English medium schools of Lucknow, but his parents could not afford it. However, he worked really hard and taught the students of the same school where he always dreamed of studying at. Besides, he also had to do many odd jobs on the side to support himself. But despite many odds in life, he never gave in and today he is content with what he is doing in life.

Suhail considers his mother his guiding light. He says his mother always tried her best to give him the best that she could. Besides, his school teacher Mr. Sandeep Bhatnagar, who always supported him in his studies and other endeavors of his life, is an inspiration for him. He acknowledges that whatever he is today, it is because of the blessings of his parents and the teacher only.

Being able to beat all the odds in life and come out of the tough times in his life, is Suhail’s biggest achievement in life. Besides, he also got an award by Power Magazine. At school he also got a certificate in running as he says.

Talking about Covid, Suhail says that the pandemic was a tough period for him personally. He had to bear losing some of his loved ones due to the disease. He also slid into depression during that period as his academy was kept shut. However, not losing hope, he started giving online classes and during the pandemic only his academy got the maximum recognition. And thus he was able to sustain the difficult time.

In his spare time, Suhail likes to watch comedy videos which helps him relieve his stress. Besides, he likes to read novels and travel with his students.

If he could go back in time in a Time Machine, Suhail would want to relive the period of his childhood when his school teacher was always there by his side.

Suhail thinks that Education is very important in life. He says education helps you gain knowledge and also helps you build your career. Besides, he says that in today’s competitive world your Experience matters as well, as big companies seek for your experience before giving you any job opportunity.

His message to people is never to give up in life.
